Fast-growing startups like Tourlane often find themselves in a situation where their own success becomes a challenge. This is the case with Tourlane, because in addition to employees in the Berlin office, a large number of remote employees are joining the team. “We sell personalized dream vacations to over 50 countries worldwide, and for this, employees need to be taught a lot of knowledge,” explains Head of Expert Development, Katja Richter.
“Our challenge was to continuously guarantee the same premium quality. Standardized onboarding was impossible. “Training courses took place at specific times and locations. If a participant did not show up, the date had to be repeated.
In order to make onboarding a success for Tourlane, one point was crucial for Katja: versatility. Among the numerous platforms she compared based on the criteria most important to Tourlane, only elearnio delivered the desired result. According to her, this is where most of the possibilities for imparting knowledge are given. “Since the introduction we have prepared over 240 courses with which we carry out our onboardings” Katja Richter reveals satisfaction. Today, Tourlane is able to train new employees and further educate members of the existing team. Katja explains further: “In the meantime, a large part of our product training courses are now carried out automatically via elearnio”. There is absolutely no difference whether employees work in the Berlin office or from home, because they can now plan independently when they want to partake in a training course.
With elearnio a great challenge was mastered. Onboarding now takes place in a standardized and orderly manner. Katja Richter is also pleased with the other advantages of elearnio: “The reaction speed to inquiries through personal contact, the possibility to participate as a customer in the product and the connection to Personio are important points for us”.
