The initial situation at Personio

More than two years ago, only six employees were responsible for the distribution of the products, but today there are already over 100 employees. Personio is growing continuously and this also internationally. A rapidly growing number of new employees who want to be trained requires a high and constantly recurring training program. “At that time all trainings had to be repeated by me every month”, Sandra Finkenzeller, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Personio, reports about these challenges and adds: “The coordination of classrooms and training times was difficult.” Long-term planning was difficult.

In addition, the training and onboarding units could only respond to a limited extent to the individual learning speed of each newcomer. “It was particularly important for our team to be able to guarantee a high quality for each individual in the training sessions and at the same time keep the administrative effort as low as possible.”

Personio searched for a uniform solution for its talent Management

Personio was looking for a uniform solution for various challenges. On the one hand, the knowledge transfer had to be simplified, clearly arranged and flexible. On the other hand, the course content had to be easily editable, which became necessary at the latest when the company with locations in London and Madrid also used English as the language of instruction. 

Therefore it was essential that the theoretical knowledge transfer is available on a digital platform that in cooperation with a 2-week onsite training at the headquarters in Munich allows an effective instruction and training of the sales employees in their new tasks. For Personio it was therefore obvious to use the elearnio platform to find out how it could be integrated into their own processes and thus optimize knowledge transfer.

That's what elearnio has changed at Personio

Since the introduction of elearnio courses for sharing knowledge can be created and conducted quickly and easily. In addition, comprehension tests allow to test the conveyed knowledge. elearnio’s custom-fit and versatile functions play an important role for Personio, as does the excellent support provided by the company.

Sandra Finkenzeller is also enthusiastic about the easy access and the automation possibilities, e.g. when assigning new employees to training modules: “It’s great that you can use the test version to get an overview of elearnio. Here you can see that it is easy to use and not too complex in structure.” Personio relies on a combination of elearnio and individual face-to-face workshops for onboarding and thus creates an optimal experience between online and offline training, which can be individually adapted to the learning speed of the participants. Currently Personio is using the elearnio platform for sales and customer success employees.

There has been a lot of positive feedback from the learners, whose experience with the software has been consistently positive. The videos, links and quizzes used in the learning content make it easy for employees to learn new content and are fun at the same time!
